TRIC S.r.l. was founded in 1965 with the aim of producing a new type of plastic ball-bearing for which
it owned the relevat patent.
TRIC S.r.l., therefore, launched in Italy the first ball-bearing made from Delrin® (acetal resin) ball bearing characterised by affordable cost and which perfectly smooth running and extraordinarily resistant.

As the years went by, the product line of plastic bearings increased as a result of the construction of new moulds and improved assembly equipment.
Subsequently, in order to fully meet customer demand, TRIC S.r.l. expanded production to include steel and brass bearings.
In particular, thanks to the extensive experience gained with plastics, TRIC S.r.l. started producing a new product line of steel and brass bearings with a nylon or acetylic resin lined coating.
Tric srl, established in Turin, Italy, in 1965, is a company specializing in the production of ball bearings for showers, curtains, furniture, vending machines, nautics and other multiple uses.
In order to make itself more competitive in the market, it patented and produced the first ball bearing made of Delrin® (acetal resin) characterized by great economy, silence and strength. It is an ideal product for working in environments exposed to water and weathering.
The flexibility of Tric's organization enables it to meet specific customer requirements and to make custom bearings even in small quantities.
To date, production can be distinguished into the following product categories:
- Delrin Ball Bearings: acetylic resin bearings with different inner and outer axial profiles
- Steel Ball Bearings with Nylon Lining: bearings made of lead steel axial rings, hardened and galvanised. The Nylon lining guarantees smoothness and silence during rolling.
- Steel Ball Bearings: bearings made of steel axial rings, with incorporated pin screw, or rivet pins, or with inner hole, all hardened and galvanised
- Brass Ball Bearings with Nylon Lining: bearings made of brass axial rings, with incorporated brass pin screw or rivet pins, or with inner brass hole. They are coated on the outside diameter with nylon lining.
- Axial Ball Bearings: bearings able to supporting axial loads. They are made of lead steel rings, hardened and galvanised.
- Rollers: non-motorised rollers with balls double wreath that allow movement of loads by rotation.
The range of our bearings is also available with balls in chrome steel, stainless steel or with balls in Delrin 7 (Acetylic resin). They are also available in various sizes.
In the case of showers, we recommend the use of Delrin or brass lining bearings with alternating Delrin or stainless steel balls.
Steel bearings are better suited for other uses but still provide good resistance to weathering and salt spray due to the galvanizing process and, where present, additional nylon lining.
